There has been a dramatic change in the weather as of late. It has gotten considerably colder, sometimes reaching lows of 4C at night and in the early morning. That’s absolutely bone chilling when you’re whizzing downhill on a bike. We would put on our winter gear but we don’t really have any. Most of my heavier items are strewn all over the “Road to Venice” and the Dolomites don’t forget. So that means layering; 2 pairs of socks, 4 shirts etc. We have a system: cycling gear on the outside and regular clothes on the inside when cycling, vice versa when walking around town. We look a little like the Michelin man, but it works. Sigh…sun finished. We blame the change in weather on Sandy and her evil lightening bolts of course.
Just kidding!
